I'm interested in learning what you do in your personal taiji  practice -- outside of class, of course -- especially if you employ unorthodox methods and materials. Oh, and if you're shy and don't reply in over 50 weeks , I may delete the forum altogether. But I'm patient ... swo pe he.

(1) Is it Hun Yuan (2 words) or Hunyuan (1word)???  and

(2) What is the meaning of Xin (heart) in relation to Mind  as opposed to Yi (intention)?  Is it the emotional mind that we as Westrerners are use to thinking?  Is it personality?  And if Xin is Mind, what is Heart?  I see Feng talk about calming Heart and Mind as separate entities, but also use Heart as Mind in XinYi, as in Chen Shr XinYi  HunYuan.  What is the subtle distinction and connection???  Justin
